Week 4 game predictions

Week four of NFL action rolls on and our staff members make their game picks.

Jake: 7-6-1
Blaise: 7-6-1
Ethan: 7-6-1
Christian: 6-7-1

Predictions by staff, analysis by Ethan Anderson.

Bears v Buccaneers

Blaise: Bucs 28 Bears 24
Christian: Bears 21 Bucs 20
Jake: Bears 28 Bucs 24
Ethan: Bucs 27 Bears 20

This will be the toughest test for the Bears this season given all the offensive firepower the Bucs have. The Bears D will make things tough for Ryan Fitzpatrick, but Mitchell Trubisky is just not good enough to make the explosive plays down the field.

Vikings v Rams

B: Vikings 20 Rams 17
C: Rams 42-21
J: Rams 35 Vikings 20
E:Rams 28 Vikings 22

The Vikings loss to the Bills was a fluke, and they are facing the Rams who are without both Aqib Talib and Marcus peters for at least a month. Even with them missing there top corners, they are still the best team in football and find a way to score on this Viking defense.

Lions v Cowboys

B: Lions 32 Cowboys 17
C: Lions 24 Cowboys 10
J: Lions 27 Cowboys 20
E: Lions 24 Cowboys 12

The Lions will be facing a better defense, or pass rush at least, this week against the Cowboys, opposed to that pathetic Patriot defense. But I’m going to take the Lions because Dak Prescott is limited and he has NO weapons at all. Also his offensive line isn’t what it used to be. Zeke will get his yards, but Lions will get the win.

Packers v Bills

B: Packers 35 Bills 31
C: Packers 24 Bills 17
J: Packers 24 Bills 20
E: Packers 29 BIlls 18

Will Josh Allen hurtle another defender this week? Probably not but we sure hope he does. Allen looked good last week against a really good Vikings D. But he’s playing Aaron Rodgers, and he could beat Josh Allen and the Bills on a bad knee, blindfolded throwing to his offensive lineman. Okay maybe no that last part but he should have a field day.

Eagles v Titans

B: Eagles 21 Titans 15
C: Eagles 28 Titans 10
J: Eagles 72 Titans 10
E: Eagles 30 Titans 9

The Titans have beat up QB’s, and are playing a stout Eagles defensive-line. Oh, and the Eagles have Carson Wentz who is getting healthier and healthier everyday.

Browns v Raiders

B: Browns 28 Raiders 21
C: Browns 14 Raiders 6
J: Browns 20 Raiders 8
E: Browns 22 Raiders 8

Ahhh yes it’s the Baker Mayfield show this week. He had a good showing last week leading his team to their first win in 635 days. Baker gets to face a Raiders defense that lacks, well, everything. Also Jon Gruden’s team has blown three second half leads, have fun blocking Myles Garrett.
