Championship Round predictions

It’s Championship Sunday, the last morsel or football we can enjoy until February (don’t even make the argument the Pro Bowl counts).

Predictions by all staff, analysis by Ethan Anderson.

Rams v Saints

Blaise (70-43-1): Saints 35 Rams 31
Christian (61-52-1): Saints 42 Rams 31
Jake (66-47-1): Rams 35 Saints 31
Ethan (61-52-1): Rams 34 Saints 30

I don’t see the Rams rushing for 275 rushing yards like they did last week against this Saints’ run defense, but Todd Gurley and CJ Anderson have quickly become a two headed monster at running-back.

Sean McVay’s game plan last week was stellar and I while he has one less week this week, I still think he will draw up a great game plan. I know the Saints under Drew Brees and Sean Payton have never lost a home playoff game, but last week’s performance bothered me. The Eagles might be good but the Saints offense just doesn't look the same and really hasn’t for a while. I like the Rams to get revenge on Sunday in the Big Easy.

Patriots v Chiefs

B: Chiefs 38 Patriots 32
C: Chiefs 27 Patriots 22
J: Fightin’ Andy Reid's- 45 Evil Empire- 38
E: Pats 30 Chiefs 29

I was wrong. I called the Pats pretenders and they just laugh it off and keep winning. This is an intriguing re-match because Brady has not won a on the road in the AFC Championship game since 2004. Until they lose, until the dynasty is over, I can’t pick against these guys anymore. Pats win a close on on the road.
