Yu Darvish signs 6 year deal

The back and forth of Yu Darvish's offseason escapades have come to end an in the form of a six year roughly $126 million deal, according to multiple sources.

Darvish finished last season with the Dodgers on a sour note losing games two and seven in the World Series.

Darvish signing with the Cubs was drawing ever closer with the reports that he and the team had a good meeting, and the Cubs bringing about his battery mate Chris Gimenez—who was with Darvish on the Rangers.

Darvish will most likely replace Jake Arrieta who is still a free agent, and spent the last few season with the team.

Cubs pitchers and catchers report on Feb. 13.
