NL Wild Card preview

The Rockies are 8-2 in their last 10 games compared to the Cubs 6-4 mark in their last 10 games.

The Rockies edge the Cubs in runs scored this season—778 to 760—and OPS—.758 to .745. However, the Cubs team ERA is .69 earned runs lower with Chicago’s batting average against .11 points lower than Colorado.

In the past week Anthony Rizzo and Daniel Murphy both batted over .370. The Rockies Nolan Arenado and Charlie Blackman come in hot as well with both batting .348 or higher.

The Cubs are tied for the fourth best home record in the baseball, while the Rockies have the ninth best road record in baseball.

Winner of the Wild Card game will face the Brewers in the NLDS on Thursday.
